The South Carolina Choral Directors Association  is a non-profit professional organization whose membership comprises school, college, university, church, community and professional choral directors as well as individuals within the music industry.

Benefits
Members of the SC Choral Directors Association are automatically members of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), the national umbrella organization  of SC Choral Directors Association.

ACDA membership benefits include:

• 6 issues of the Choral Journal each year
• A subscription to the ACDA Southern Division newsletter
• A subscription to the SC-ACDA  online newsletter
• Contact with over 18,000 other choral directors
• Access to the biannual ACDA Southern Division Convention (years ending in even numbers)
• Access to the biannual National ACDA Convention (years ending in odd numbers)
• Student members receive the same benefits as regular members, plus special Student ACDA newsletters.

Dues
Annual dues are:

• Active Members - $125.00
• Retired Members - $45.00
• Student Members - $35.00
• Associate Members - $45.00
• International Members - $45.00
• Industry Members -$135.00
• Institutional Members - $110.00
• Life Member - $2,000.00
